Just thought of this while watching Treehouse of Horror VIII...why not a Halloween event with the Springfield mutants? You could make it just like the Stonecutters event (widely considered the best)....

Also I like when an event has variety and if all items released were mutant skins I would be hugely disappointed. They should do each act has its own theme and have different npc nightmares like they did last year.
