About extra donuts - Yes, EA has given us more sources to earn donuts with the Maggie game, the Rail-yard and now the Daily Challenges box. These are appreciated. But there are people out there is $250 million of in-game cash that they can turn to donuts by buying items with high XP, the XP Collider makes that much more convenient and profitable.
About running low on Characters - This Casino event will speculatively release 5 new taskable characters, Valentines Mini Event released M0na and Becky, Much Apu About Nothing released Jay, the Winter Event released 8 new characters, 8! I think they still have new characters to give, and when they really run out, they can also go to this forum can PM Deadshot.
There has to be a reason for the 4 month gap in Level Updates, longest before this was 2 and a half months, if not to prevent long time players with $200+ million from cashing in donuts, then what? Of course this is my opinion, but I can see from the business side where EA would want to prevent people from getting free donuts.
