It may not be exactly what you want it to be, but this forum has come a long way in the past months. There was a mass exodus for reasons I am not clear about, a dark time when it seemed like half of the posts were trolling posts followed by what we have now, which is a helpful, caring community. This place is so much better than when I first started coming here (and not to single anybody out) but I think the exodus helped. I have never seen a more helpful, friendly forum than this one anywhere on the Internet. To top that off, now we actually have moderators, good ones at that.
So, while there is a lot of off topic banter, I think that comes from everybody being so friendly with each other and just wanting to keep the conversation going, even though there may not be a lot that is on topic to discuss.
I would take it like this over what it was any day of the week.

I agree. Mae is another member that contributes a lot with all his new buildings posts. I enjoy those a lot though I'm always behind in the decorating. :D
