The beauty of this forum is that you, you are in control of the programming. Don't like a derailment? Get it back on track. Want more show related threads? CREATE THEM! Have a question? ASK IT. You, my good forum friends control the programming. Dislike a thread? Ignore it. It's free programming, with no commercials
Thank you, I've been trying to put this exact thought into words and you did it so well.zuzupj wrote:

I don't agree with this at all.
Oh good god, not this again. I have grown to like walter, but do not try, he is a fanboy to the extreme extent. If you do not meet his definition of fandom and dedication you are not a fan.
I mean this with all love walter, I do like you, but you are a tad extreme.JAMVAN5150 wrote:
I, for one, enjoy the fun that H1 and Neo bring to the board. Besides, we have Netangel and the Mighty Spiff to reign us in when things do get out of hand (they are our Jiminey Crickets of the board).

+1
I think there are plenty of opinions here that have been voiced very eloquently. For one I don't think you have to be a fan to enjoy the game. Some people just like watching the Simpsons every now and then. They see the game, they download it and before they know it, they're addicted to it. I'm a very good example. I did grow up watching the Simpsons but I gave up watching the show years ago. I only downloaded the game because a friend told me it was super fun and I was bored and decided to give it a shot. This game in fact renewed the interest in the show for me. Through this game, I learned more about the show than watching the show itself. I didn't know what was Cletus' name to begin with. To me, he was just the hillbilly with a lot of kids.
There are plenty of people who play this game who may not know every character or every building that is in the show. Even when the new building that was introduced, Pimento Grove, it was very obvious that many players don't know what the building was. It was after a little googling or somebody who's a mega fan of the show who knew what it was informed everyone what it was.
I believe that it is always a learning curve, when people post a lot here, people tend to get carried away. I admit that I contribute as well. Now, with topics I don't enjoy, like the joke thread (because I don't know if I'll read something that'll offend me) I avoid like the plague. Even the add me threads, I've learned to look away.
I'm not saying you're wrong or you can't voice an opinion. All I'm saying is, this is the internet and this forum is without a moderator. Things will be what it will be. If you don't like it, look away and just post where you like to. Or if you can't find a thread to talk about it, create one! Also, thick skin is required. :)- The main subject topic of this forum is General Discussion. To that end, the definition of general is: Adjective
Affecting or concerning all or most people, places, or things; widespread. While yes, this is a forum for the game, the topic subject leaves it open to interpretation.
So, in lulls like this when much has already been discussed, the topics get broader. Nobody begrudges your right to an opinion on the topics or posts. But, I'd like to offer that you provide what you are looking for as opposed to these threads, or perhaps start your own?
The people here are nothing but friendly. Bashing posts offers no solutions. Instead, tell us what you're aiming for and their might be some relief. - Tbh there's only so much you can say about a game that releases one level a month...
If you don't like off topic threads, don't comment on them. That's what I do. JAMVAN5150 wrote:

Why thank you Zuzu.
One more thing. This forum represents a huge swath of humanity. Men, women, aliens, 11 year olds, 80 year olds, fatties, beauty queens, multiple countries, multiple religions. You name it, it's here. That which has brought us here is The Simpsons. We are all fans maybe die hard, maybe sideline but fans none the less. Is there any reason why the wall should not reflect this diversity? I feel like I need a sparkler here.
If this forum has gone to hell, well I for one am certainly enjoying the ride.RSommons wrote:
