The Inanimate Carbon Rod Monument is absolutely worth it. A decent deal is 40 donuts for a 2% payout increase. The monument is 35 donuts for a 2.75% increase. Unless something like the Wailing Wall or Tennis Court comes along, it is one of the best deals in the game.
