Robot parts are used for two things:
1)Crafting Demos
2)Leveling up the 3D printer
First of all never pay to upgrade the printer, crafting will do that for you. Don't worry about wasting robot parts if the price of the demo is greater than the amount to level up, robot parts will carry over to the next level.
Robots in your Town
Robots in town pay out one robot part each, the spawn at a rate of one every three minutes with a maximum of 80.
Sci-fighter
The minigame can be played every four hours and gives a minimum payout of 40 robot parts for a win as well as the number of robots tapped.
Anomaly
The cube that sometimes appears in a friends town pays out one robot part. You must not have used all 89 friend actions for the cube to pay out event currency.
Daily Challenges
There is a chance of your daily challenges paying out 100 robot parts during the event. If you don't want cash/dark matter etc. I'd recommend swapping for the chance at robot parts or donuts (1 donut can buy 20 robot parts via rushing)
And now the maths:
Playing three visits spaced four hours or more apart:
-Robots in town: 80x3=240
-Scifighter: minimum: 20x3=60
In-game robots: 35x3=105
Total: 405 a day
Playing four visits spaced four hours or more apart:
-Robots in town: 80x4=320
-Scifighter: minimum: 20x4=80
In-game robots: 35x4=140
Total: 540 a day
In order to craft all demos it requires 777 robot parts a day
Or in order to simply level up the printer to the max it requires 513 robot parts a day
@AO, maybe don't add this to the front page until a few people have given opinions on it as I'm hoping I've made a mistake since the totals are so low compared to the requirements for whichever goal a player wants to achieve.
