One of my neighbors (who apparently uses a lot of donuts) already has the main, large island, but not the other three smaller islands. They seem to have everything in the game, including all premium and limited time items, so if the three smaller islands DO unlock once you get the big one it's strange that they haven't bought the three small islands yet.
If they are to be unlocked later, perhaps it'll be after Jan 1? Not sure. I kind of assumed that since the three small islands weren't released with the Phase 2 update, and since I haven't seen anyone with them yet, that they'd either not been released yet or won't be at all. Hoping they are released, and it's just a timed thing to be released after Jan 1 or closer to the event's end.
