Finally, its updated. I had taken the game off and reinstalled it back on. All good.

deleating and re downloading did work

i had 2 things that could have messed up the update
1. while updating, i came on the forum to post that ios was live
2. i was logged into one of my towns on android phone during update on ios

I think they gave us a land token too... can anyone else confirm? I don't remember having a token leftover from the event but I went to check to see if they 'fixed' the land token 'issue' (they did not...) and I had one...

the water issue is really annoying me. Why can't things stay fixed?

Over the last week I have redesigned the last few rows of my town to feature a river snaking through the city, up to the edge where the airport now is on an island. Now it looks terrible because they have taken away the ability to place river tiles there when it was working just fine before the update. Hopefully they will fix it soon but why didn't they just leave it alone.
