Visiting friends is an annoying hassle

Right, just my second set of friends- I did 3/4 earlier- took 40 mins, ended up gaining 38 snakes- this is beyond tedious. I don't know how ill last a month with this hassle- it's as if We are being punished so we give up and buy the decs so we can become self Sufficient

This is not true for me, just checked. My snakes do auto collect when I leave without tapping them.

I've been on-off whacking friends since this morning. Finally done. Luckily, I noticed when my snakes dipped so retrieved them from that town. I' up snake wise. Time consuming though. Very. []_[]

Snakes and eggs do autocollect while you're in the town. So I do the snakes first (one tap), then put down 3 to 4 eggs, then collect on the buildings. By the time I'm done with the buildings all the snakes autocollected.

Studisco, go back to that town and collect again. Whenever your snake count goes down (check prior to entering) you'll be able to get them again in that town. Some may turn into eggs though. This has worked for me, and I have got over 500 snakes already today.

Including any snakes you lose upon entering a neighborhood?

Yep. I watch if I lose snakes or not. If I lost 5 snakes, I collect 10, then lay the eggs, then collect from the buildings.

I've been keeping track of whose town I lose snakes. Out of 30 friends, only 2 are giving me issues right now.

I'm not sure here whether you are saying the auto collect works when you lose snakes upon entering a town or not. I have several hours to go until I can return to my friends or I would just check for myself. Logic would seem to suggest that the game does not auto collect missing snakes - because how else could you end up with a snake loss if the game automatically recollected them?

For myself, I lose snakes upon entering a large majority of the towns I visit. This is unpleasant.
