i've heard people complain about this event, from the monotony of 3 acts (same structure as practically everything ever released from hollywood) to the future stuff doesn't fit in their town.
i've stored aboutt 90% of the craftables and only the flying saucer-like features have found a temporary home in the woods, like a mini- Close Encounters invasion...
...but i honestly cannot complain about this event. i'm very happy so far. We got several characters that i never expected to show up here.
Mr. Hawking, Mooch Bart, President Lisa, the REAL Skinner, and who knows what's coming in Act 3, plus the potential for Evil Homer?

I've considered the difficulty of bringing these characters to this game in a relevant way. Of course, some kind of time-traveling event would be necessary for characters from the future! So yeah, there's a bunch of sci-fi junk. I may use it one day. My neighbors have some really great creative new town districts and 'hoods. i'm very happy to visit them and check out their progress. (it helps to have good neighbors, love u guys!)
And the cherry on top was the Frink deal for me. I really try to only spend donuts on sale items, so its a bonus when the sale item du jour is something i've been wanting since i started playing.
what else did we get? a parody of tired and over-used plot line about building a robot girl who turns on its creator, featuring Milhouse? too cute. and the Barts interacting with new dialog you can only get in this game? And I just got President Lisa, so very excited to see how it plays out. I hope its funny.
so far, this has been a great event, and there's still act 3. i'm not expecting any significant plot twists, but i'm still looking forward to it playing out, then designing Frink's new backyard and lab area. :mrgreen:
