LOL it's not a normal dog howl because it's really high pitched. My husband was out of the country when he first started the howling, I managed to convince myself that the house was haunted.
Then logic returned and I waited till the howling started....snuck downstairs (ignoring every horror movie rule ever!!!) and caught the little bugger in action.

He looks like this. That's not him but that's his coloring and markings. So imagine a dog like that howling.
