What Changed with the July 21st-September 24th Updates? (Updated)

Ok, I have a small question. I don't want to start building a lot of the same buildings just to get my prizes as I know I can't stock them afterwards and they're just not that pretty.....would anyone know if we will be getting new buildings that'll allow us to gain money to collect the prizes for Springfield Heights? :)
