I am left with Allison Taylor and Juvenile Correction Facility which both can be obtained from the Yearbook.
But since I am only going to get 12 donuts back, it will cost me 36 donuts (48-12) per token if I don't use them. So may as well get the above 2 prizes here instead from the Yearbook. Does that make sense?

No, you're not making any sense.
Allison Taylor and the JCF are both available in the Yearbook. Yearbook "tokens" cost 30 Donuts each. So getting those 2 things from the Yearbook will cost you a total of 60 Donuts. They will always be in the Yearbook so you can wait.
A single Van Houten token costs 60 Donuts. You can buy them one at a time.
Buying 5 tokens for 240 Donuts but only using 2 will make the TWO you use cost 102 Donuts each.
240 - 12 - 12 - 12 = 204 : 204 / 2 = 102
Buy them from the Yearbook. You don't have to do it now. They'll still be in the Yearbook a year from now (assuming the game is still going a year from now).
