If we don't get an event this week I doubt we will get one until Halloween as there wouldn't be enough time in between for people to recover.
Just a theory, but they could do a Squidport update and use it to introduce the "normal" Sideshow Bob via the houseboat (and having one of his tasks being singing the H.M.S. Pinafore)
