When did donuts increase in price?!
I'm sure I read on the RTTF thread that the cost of donuts goes up as you level up. I may have picked that up wrong though, but it fits with what you've said.

Same thing happened here in Canada, last year I think. It's loosely based on the exchange rate (as an excuse). Don't expect the price to go down if/when the exchange rates go back to parity, though. The initial change was so that everyone around the world was supposedly paying roughly the same (in USD), but they will probably only make adjustments if there are large changes in exchange rates.
