Xmas 2013/Valentines 2014 and best of all events, Stonecutters which was complicated in a good way. Not the sort of boring endless 4hr taps and forced crafting and bonus area placement events we keep getting now.
Even the Event that Shall Not Speak It's name was more interesting. It was frustratingly difficult to get the prizes but ...bunnies!, neighbor inter-actions that helped, a varied mechanic.
