Why do job count change?

When I use the unemployment office to send everyone to work, some days it’ll send nearly all of them, sans the ones with quest jobs, and other days it’ll send up to 15 or 20 less to the same jobs.
What’s going on there?

Anyways, when I sent everybody on the 24 hr task by using the Office of Unemployment.....Jay G doesn't go right away and I have to sent him manually. Not sure why.

Jay G's 24hr task is a joint with his goose Goosius. ("Feed Goosius")
  • Why did some of my characters lose their 24 hour job? For example: Blue Haired Lawyer, was hanging out lawsuits to local businesses (or something like that.) Well that job disappeared! Now his longest job is go to church for 12 hours.

They got removed due to the Christmas daily tasks but should return once they remove the finished current event either with a new one or with a takedown update.

But there are other characters with no pending jobs that the unemployment office omits too

I think I know what you could be getting???

    Firstly. ~
A Christmas Daily Challenge would stop some of my characters being assigned, and if I rejected it the characters would still not be assigned.
Even though the task was no longer at the top of their list and it was not highlighted yellow.
    Result. ~
Going to Other Springfield and back reseted this and then they could be assigned as normal from the Office Of Unemployment.

    Secondly. ~
If the character will not be assigned, is it because they have a different skin on.
I have had some characters in different skins because they bring in more money, but the required task, (be it a DC or a Christmas event task), is not highlighted or prioritised.
    Result. ~
Select the character's regular form and the task should be highlighted and prioritised.

    Thirdly. ~
Christmas Tree Ralph would not go on 24hr from Office Of Employment and had to be set manually.
    I don't know?
He did not have any required jobs in his regular form, he just would not be assigned from OE.
I think he might have gone back to regular Ralph, will have to keep an eye on it.

I should state I have had this happen before the Christmas event.

A Christmas Daily Challenge would stop some of my characters being assigned, and if I rejected it the characters they would still not be assigned.

It happened with a few characters but also with Channel 6 Broadcast's and growing crops at Cletus's Farm.
Something in the Christmas update caused it to happen more often, is it possible there is a remaining glitch of this on your device.
Christmas Tree Ralph will now be assigned on 24hr task, whatever the problem was, it is now gone.

My Jay G goes on his 24hr Hang With His Entourage task.
