I'm fine with monthly automatic payments. I use that for every utility, my rent, my subscriptions, and my dental bill. Calling it lazy is, in my opinion, the same as calling a person lazy for driving to work rather than walking there. Taking advantage of modern technology is, in my opinion, smart. They don't call them "modern conveniences" for nothing. :)
I've never heard of a law that requires a business to reimburse people who didn't use a service they were paying a subscription for. Maybe I misunderstood what was being explained in that post. Probably.
What I would prefer, though, is a five dollar monthly subscription that would simply give me a 50% discount on donuts whenever I decide to buy them. Just that. I'd be happy with that. :)
