Do you have multiple characters stuck on a task in a building?

There are frequent posts from players who indicate that they have multiple characters in a building on a task, but when they clear it they don't release.  This is common when a large number of characters are in a building on a task, usually 50 or more.

If you clear them, it pays out but they don't release. If you go to friends and back, they are all finished again and you can collect again.  THINK ABOUT THAT, free revenue.

When you get tired of the grind, if you store the building, they will release.

If the building can not be stored, like the Simpsons house, you will need to store a different building that gives one of the characters that is stuck.  For instance storing Moes will store Moe and Marge.  So if they were stuck, storing Moes would release them.
