crashing

When I start a match on online career, it does the stare down and then takes me to either an empty octagon or a white screen. Then  myself or the player has to quit and whoever presses quits first gets the loss and also after x amount of quits  through now fault of our own  gets a temporary matchmaking ban. Please sort this out

    I have the exact same problem. Out of 6 matches, I’ve only played one; the rest were forfeits because the game just loads an empty octagon and waits to see who disconnects first. So, without having actually played, my stats are already ruined.

    And another thing is, why did I have to pay for 7-day early access when the game basically can’t be launched online, even though it shows us a ping of around 30?

    I’m playing on PlayStation five and it’s still happening right now I’ve lost lots of XP boosts including the five day bonus has been worthless because sometimes I get lucky and the match starts but probably 70% of the time I either get an empty octagon or when you see the fighters in the octagon the screen just keeps flashing to eventually it just says connection lost

    Thanks for the additional details. I'm sorry to hear you've lost XP Boosts and haven't been able to fully benefit from the 5-day bonus.

    If you are constantly losing connection, please follow our troubleshooting guide. We recommend using a wired connection if possible. 

    You can also try restoring your licenses and see if that helps.

    Hi, thanks for your reply.

    I appreciate the troubleshooting suggestions, but I don’t believe this is an issue with my connection.

    I’m playing on PS5 using a stable home broadband connection, and I don’t experience these problems in any other online games. My connection is consistently reliable, and I haven’t noticed any packet loss or instability outside of UFC 6.

    The issues I’m experiencing are:

    • Frequent empty octagon matchmaking where the fight never starts.
    • “Connection to your opponent has been lost” messages during or immediately before fights.
    • Failed matches resulting in wasted XP boost time.
    • Occasional matchmaking restrictions after failed matches that were outside of my control.

    I’ve also seen many other players reporting the same problems on the EA Forums, Reddit and other social media platforms, so it appears this is affecting more than just my account.

    I’ve already tried the basic troubleshooting steps, but the issues continue. If there’s any additional information or logs I can provide that would help the team investigate, I’d be happy to do so.

  • I'm on xbox and this happens often.  I have gigabyte internet connection and fairly low ping and am hardwired both with ethernet and controller
