And here we go….

looks like after a couple weeks of playing that the energy credits and gold you win aren’t going to be able to keep up with upgrading your fighters… You can sell items that you’ll need at some point, but the 50 fighters I will never ever use and can’t sell will continue to multiply…

Sadly it appears that this is the kind of game that takes very little skill to play, and will require you to buy your way thru. When you figure in all the awards you will lose every 30 days because you lack one piece, or don’t have enough gold to  pay for the privilege of training your fighters it becomes clear that you don’t ‘win’ or ‘earn’ anything. This is a game where strategy and skill aren’t necessary. you will have to buy your way through this game… And once 30 days is up, you’ll be losing unused inventory every single day. So you’ll be under pressure to buy rank items and upgrades so as not to lose items you’re close to completing… I’m gonna give it a few days and see how it looks, but if you have to buy everything it takes to play, and if the difference between two players comes down to who spent an extra dollar, it’s not fun, in fact it’s not even a “game”.

Thanks for creating a topic about your experience with progression. Very curious if others that play the game feel the same way or have advice on how to maximize time to complete everything needed for higher rewards.

Do you have any concepts you think could make the unused inventory useful? The Madden Mobile team recently added practice squad where you train lower tier items. So players that were holding onto them now have more value out of them.
