Fake Update?

Not seeing any changes and no release notes from EA.

Seems like a fake update to keep their position on the IOS and Google play searches since they were pushing a year since the last real update.

  • Hi, @b6c3913b5d310b1e!

Do you think Apple and Google would allow a fake update? The developers have released updates before that seemingly had no changes. The community manager explained that the changes were only on the server side to prepare for the next update, so maybe that is the situation now. Unfortunately, we can't say for sure that this is the case. I have sent a request to the developer for clarification on the update and am waiting for a response.
  • I still can't understand why there is no information about when and what is planing to make. If something in work, why not to let it know?
Speake some words about what it was done?
Obviously many players are waiting. It's no so hard to promise few changes in game. Without any secrets.
Just say any date. In few months or later...

Sorry for my english and mistakes 🙈

It is not possible to answer your questions so quickly and easily. I will try to answer them step by step:

First of all, unfortunately, the community manager of UFC M2 has left and no new person has been found to take his place, so there is no one to tell us what has been done within the game.

Secondly, EA has never told users what is planned to be done and when. At least not to regular users. Participants of the closed beta test partially had access to such information, but they are forbidden to share it with everyone.

  • 3 weeks in this is clearly a fake update. Mark$ss, you took the term “fake” too literal; apple and android are absolutely going to test each update . Term “fake” in my terminology means EA did not elevate the user experience AT ALL with the recent update; just subtle changes that probably didn’t require an update to begin with (removing Shay from the credits would be a good example).

@b6c3913b5d310b1e I definitely agree with your opinion. Also I do believe that a lot of players blame EA for such disrespect moment like silent mode. We can call it fake update or pure lie.
Really no changes. No information at all. Such disappointing moment.

The most understandable fact is why it is so hard to continue making new updates or repeat fight weeks, that was made many months ago.
