Glitching out badlt

My game keeps glitching out so bad. I’ve updated and repaired the game so many times but it isn’t working. My sims will randomly die or when they age up (from a babies to toddlers) the moment I leave and return to the lot they’re back to babies again? 
is anyone else having this issue it’s driving me crazy!
