How is it even possible that basic movement and dodging is still not fixed

I've been playing this game for three months now, almost daily.

New fighters have been added, new seasons, new fighters, new content, and yet for some reason something as simple as sliding backwards vs dodging hasn't been addressed despite constant complaints in the discord.

Other issues like opponents literally flying across the screen to clinch when you're well out of their reach continue to be an issue EVERY DAY SINCE LAUNCH.

Why is the focus so heavy on monetization and pushing shady loot boxes (like the Darren Till pack with the percentage rates of the items in the pack but not the fighter in the actual packs within the set, which is likely around 2.5%) while so little effort is made on fixing miniscule but EXTREMELY frustrating bugs like slide vs dodge?

Not only is this really not a very fun experience playing the game, it does absolutely nothing for any trust I may have had for EA prior to playing it.

Really awful experience.

  • Sliding forward and sliding backward is a temporary solution. It came back because the new solution to the fighter's movement didn't work quite right.

and the teleporting clinches? I guarantee you could open a fight against Ashlee Evans-Smith right this moment and experience the same thing. I don't see how it hasn't been addressed yet.

The developers are working on fixing many bugs. And our task is to find as many of them as possible and give them the information. Don't forget that the game is still in beta mode, although with a soft launch

Nah, if the market is open to accept people’s very real money, I don’t consider this a beta. There has never been a monetized beta that I’ve ever seen in my 30+ years playing video games so that’s a pretty poor excuse.

I can pay 6.99 to get a revive to recover my fighter that is KOed by a bug (teleporting momentum), and that’s a problem. No one should have to do that.

The focus is clearly on money and not quality and that’s really unfortunate because the first game perfectly paved how that balance should be, high quality, no pay to win, no nonsense like these bugs that have been around for months.
