Regarding Decision Logic Change

Hey everyone! I wanted to share a message from our Creative Director to the UFC Mobile 2 Discord regarding the change to Decision Logic for PVE and PVP:

Thank you all for your feedback and bug reports. Know that we review and discuss everything everyone is bringing up and help us work towards building the best possible UFC experience on Mobile. As we know, the game is still in beta and we appreciate all the support as we work to get everything feeling authentic, fun and engaging. We want this game to be something you can enjoy and ties into the real world of the UFC for years to come.

That said, I wanted to provide a bit of context around the decision logic and how it relates specifically to the UFC as a sport. The way UFC Mobile is designed technically, there is no concept of "Rounds". I think in an ideal world we'd be able to build out fight experiences that have 3/5 rounds but realistically that doesn't work well in a Mobile game. With the decision logic update, we wanted a way to almost mimic the concept of a Round which is why we focused on ensuring that when a decision "loss" occurs both your and your opponents fighters remains at the health they were at when the fight ended. Effectively you can rejoin the fight again and basically continue where you left off with another 1:30 timer. This also means that there is kind of a "Check-point" in which if you need to stop playing and go do something else (or you want to make your Fighter stronger, use a different fighter, etc) between "Rounds" you can do that and come back to where you left off.
There are a few outstanding pieces that are making this not feel great at the moment and we're working on them:
1. There is a bug that is requiring you spend Stamina in Raids again on a loss. this is not intentional. Stamina should be a one time cost, then you play the node as many times as you need to complete it for free until it refreshes.
2. We haven't updated our gameplay scoring. This change lets us actually bring score back into the game and be able to leverage it for other things like rewards, quests, etc.
3. We're looking to add a "Next Round" type of button on the post fight screen that lets you jump right back into gameplay without having to go back through the menus.
4. The term "Decision Loss" for a decision is a bit more negative than it should be. We might update this to better reflect the actual result.

The bug is our top priority as it impacts the core system. The others are on our list to review and get sorted in the future.
