Besides the pay to play factor.. the team did a great job on this.. I do think the difficulty should’ve been harder towards the end… but to each their own.
However, my concern is progression and what’s the plan on upcoming new release fighters.. surely everyone loves seeing new fighters released in the game. However ranking them up so we are able to use them as our main fighters is a little bit ridiculous.. with a new rank up system it will easily take several weeks to rank up a newer fighter to it the same level as our current top ranked fighters.
My question to you and the team is, what’s the plan? Why would we want to obtain new fighters if they are the same overall and rating as our fighters we obtained months ago? These newer fighters don’t have anything “game changing” or beneficial enough for us to grind weeks and delay our rank up on other fighters just do the new fighter can be even with our main.
I do think each new fighter should be 30-50 overall higher each release so they are actually worth getting.
Would a “reclaim” or “derank” ever be an option? If I ever wanted to stop using my 2500 OVR fighter can I derank / reclaim him and get 60-80% of the coins / gloves back?
Would love to hear back from you and get others opinions on this, as I feel like newer fighters are not worth it at all.
