UFC mobile 2 dead game, 0 updates for years, irresponsible community managers

As many of you may have figured out after 2 years of 0 updates or bug fixes, this game is dead.

This is the third post I have made as a response to @EA_Kent ’s post he made over a month ago about alleged updates that have never came to fruition. All other mobile games by EA such as injustice 2 have received updates over the past 2 years, including weekly/monthly events and new characters. Let’s face it, this game is dead and the community managers supposedly in charge of it are either highly incompetent or wilfully pretending to keep up the charade that the game will ever be updated and fixed.

This is yet another post that I have tagged @EA_Kent in and I don’t expect a reply from him because I already know he’s going to ignore this post. His last online was yesterday, which means that he should have been able to see my previous 2 post tags that I made but chose to completely ignore them, no surprises there.

Thanks for locking your post @EA_Kent , at least you have the courage to show us that you have 0 interest in reading any replies or questions about the pathetic state of this game.

To new players, sorry to disappoint you but this game is dead. Refer to the list of broken features of the game below, and don’t get your hopes up, they haven’t been fixed for more than 2 years.

KEY FEATURES THAT ARE MISSING

1) H2H fights. It’s literally one of the features listed in the game that has never been updated for years. Why even have a H2H tab, H2H fight counter and H2H rewards when you’re not even planning to include it in the game?

2) quest pack piece. 0 explanation of what it is or how to get it. Quest packs are listed as items that can be purchased from the store yet it’s impossible to get them.

3) tier 4 and 5 of campaign mode. 0 updates on it for years. Anyone who played this game for more than 2 months would’ve likely completed all 3 tiers. Extremely sloppy work. If you are not planning to include tier 4 and 5 of the campaign, then you should not have included it into the milestones.

4) changing of username. This is literally a basic feature of any game apart from this one.

5) T2 elite rank item piece. It’s impossible to get more pieces or more T2 elite rank items apart from the GSP and DC quests. I understand locking these fighters and unique rewards behind a UFC point paywall but there’s literally 0 updates on other fighter quests.

6) 0 new fighters for years. No new fighters added while makhachev is completely locked. It’s impossible to get Islam but yet he’s listed as an obtainable fighter.

7) 0 way to expand inventory. The inventory size is a joke. The only way to expand it further is completing tier 4 and 5 of the campaign, which is virtually impossible since you didn’t release it for years.

8) 0 way to get defence points. At the end of a fight, pouts are calculated based of attack (use of power moves), defence (literally impossible to get because your game is trash and there’s 0 way of getting it) and time bonus. Why include it as a metric if there’s no way to get defence points?

KEY FEATURES THAT ARE BROKEN

1) power moves do not align with the actions that are actually performed by the fighters (ie an arm triangle power move doesn’t result in the fighter performing an arm triangle) once every couple of months, one fighter gets their power move fixed. The latest is DC afaik, which happened 2-3 months ago

2) power moves and showstoppers NOT recorded by the daily rewards counter. The only showstoppers that are recorded are Muay Thai, striker and kick-boxer. If I landed 25 BJJ show stoppers, it would be recorded as 0, therefore making me unable to complete the daily group quest. Same with power moves, only a fraction of them are recorded.

3) weekly quest rewards completely removed for months. There used to be weekly quest rewards but that’s feature has been completely removed without reason

4) in an event of a double KO, player’s fighter will be knocked out while opponent will be revived back to full HP. This makes no sense whatsoever.

@ea_kent thanks once again for locking your post about asking for community feedback, very productive indeed. Hope to hear from you within 2-3 years since that’s the rate of which your colleagues comment on this page.

    Spoiler

    I

I'm sorry not to be disrespectful but looking back at UFC Mobile 1, It looks like there was a very poor effort with UFC Mobile 2 I had to delete the game. I'm in a UFC Mobile 2 discord and we're all hoping that the game can get a major update with smoother controls and more fighters but it's not looking like there has been any effort UFC Mobile 2, and it shows especially how much y'all update you guy's games like FC 24, NBA Live and Madden on mobile. So I believe this game is dead and y'all need to work on a new one with more features and way smoother controls and way more effort to make it feel like we're playing a UFC game

@Markkisselev let's go point by point in your latest nonsensical comment.

    1. "You don't see the amount of hidden work I do almost every day."

As far as we can tell, you are neither a developer nor are you a community manager. You are an unpaid shill. You claim to do "hidden work" with 0 elaboration on what it is. Nice try acting all mysterious with your batman facade, Mr. Mystery Man. What exactly do you do besides dissuade anyone from trying to reaching out to the developers and community managers?

    2. "I and many other players were aware that support for UFC Mobile 1 would be discontinued as the developers focused on UFC Mobile 2."

So you're now saying you had some kind of insider knowledge that none of us had access to? Perhaps you're a psychic? It doesn't take long to go through the forum post to see for a fact that EA did NOT use any of their official channels to inform players in advance about the discontinuing of mobile 1. All the official social media accounts for the UFC mobile game are dead too, and have been for years. You did not address the fact that UFC mobile developers and community managers did NOT inform us in advance that they were closing the game, even though they could have done so the moment they started working on mobile 2, which probably is months/years before they launched mobile 2.

    3. "I'm not covering for the developers, I'm talking about the situation as it is right now. My conclusions are based on discussions with the community managers of the forum and the discord channel."

Kindly elaborate on your "discussions" you had with these alleged community managers of the forum and discord channel. As far as we can tell, the last time they bothered to reply to anyone on this forum was years ago. If you're basing your opinions and arguments on the fact that a community manager replied to your comment 2 years ago, congratulations, you've just played yourself. Again, you did not address the fact that @EA_Kent has been online this whole time but chose to ignore any of the posts or tags on our page while he's busy replying to other pages. @EA_Kent also made a post about wanting to "drop in" and "update" us about the game, where he said nothing about the game or its future, and he also LOCKED HIS POST SO NOBODY COULD REPLY. In conclusion, you are factually covering for the developers because you're nothing but a shill.

    4. "You are wrong, I do care about the game."

Based on the fact that you have not addressed a single point of my criticism of your hypocrisy, you definitely do not care about this game at all. It's been abundantly clear that all you want to do on this forum is to look good for the devs and run PR for them any time anyone comes here to criticize the fact that they gave us no updates or announcements for years, despite the fact that they are all online.

inb4: you will reply with another hypocritical comment completely ignoring any of the facts I pointed out while glazing the community managers for doing nothing, but still claim that you care about the game. (I've seen enough of your comments to know your next moves)

You don't see the amount of hidden work I do almost every day.

I communicate with the community managers through other channels.

I and many other players were aware that support for UFC Mobile 1 would be discontinued as the developers focused on UFC Mobile 2.

I'm not covering for the developers, I'm talking about the situation as it is right now. My conclusions are based on discussions with the community managers of the forum and the discord channel.

You are wrong, I do care about the game.

@Markkisselev let me ask you the same question then; what's more important to you, being right or finding out the truth? Every single time anyone comes on this forum to express their dissatisfaction with all the broken features of this game or ask the devs to update it, all you do is hop on the comments and start glazing the developers and telling people to wait, instead of reaching out to the devs and demanding answers. That's literally all you do, glaze the devs and community managers, and make excuses for them while conveniently ignoring the fact that they ARE online and responding to other pages while ignoring ours. How about you start taking your own advice and start DMing and tagging the devs and community managers demanding them to reply to the 2 years of backlogged unanswered forum posts instead of doing the whole "hurr durr let's wait guys hurr durr unfortunately they did not reply guys hurr durr" schtick like you've been doing this whole time?

As for UFC mobile 1, you have yet again proven my point that the game was pulled WITHOUT any warning from the developers. They did NOT make any post beforehand about it, nor did they inform us about the plans to shut UFC mobile 1 while they were working on mobile 2. It takes months, if not years, to develop a mobile game like UFC mobile 2. The moment they started working on mobile 2, they should have had the decency to inform us that they were closing the first mobile game. They didn't. Not only that, they did not even allow players to transfer any of their unlocked fighters over to the new game, so anyone who wasted their time unlocking fighters in mobile 1 were completely left in the lurch because all their efforts went down the drain once the game was pulled.

I doubt you have the humility to see the hypocrisy in your comments and honestly I don't even think you care about the game, since all you care about is to run PR for the devs and community managers while they continue ignoring us and letting this broken game rot for years.

@Jayballer079 agreed. There were multiple people calling EA out on this since last year and all they did about it was to delete the posts and ban the users. It's quite laughable that most of the current unlockable players are either retired or on the verge of retirement

@malmal1295 What is more important to you: being right or finding out the truth? I'm not trying to argue with you, I'm talking about the situation as it is now. Unfortunately, there is no communication with the development team of the game itself. We can only get scraps of information and make conclusions based on them. I have the opportunity to communicate directly with both the technical support of the forum and the technical support of the Discord channel. All of them say that if they wanted to close the game, they would let us know, like they did with apex mobile and bf mobile games before. As for the closure of ufc mobile 1: the team tried to resume its development, but since the game engine was outdated, when introducing something new, something was bound to break elsewhere. For this reason, the developer decided to create a new game ufc mobile 2. And as everyone saw, the game closed not immediately, it was still supported for a long time, while we were testing ufc mobile 2. And only after the developer realized that he was ready to release a full game, not a beta version, they closed the servers for ufc mobile 1.
  • I agree the game needs a 3.0 update or might even need to shut this game down and do UFC Mobile 3 with mechanics like UFC Mobile 1. Especially with the lack of Fighters and need more like Alex Pereira, Dricus Du Plessis, Sean Strickland ect. It would also be great if we could create a fighter and have a career mode. And you guys should look at videos about what people have to say about the game, especially Martial Mind

You said that you disagreed about my point on H2H, yet you admitted that they pulled the feature because it was broken and never added it back into the game ever since.

I don't understand the purpose or point of your comment since my point that the H2H tab, H2H fighter counter and H2H rewards list are still up when there is no way to participate in H2H fights. Kindly refer to the red underlined quote from your message.

You claimed that "if the developer wanted to close the game, they would have told us". They did NOT inform anyone through any public channels that they were pulling the plug on UFC mobile 1. They announced mobile 2 while still running mobile 1 servers, only to abruptly pull the plug on it. Kindly refer to the green underlined quote from your message.

I've been lurking through this forum for months and all I see are comments made by you glazing the knobs of the developers and community managers while they remain completely silent whenever anyone posts questions about the bugs and issues with the game. Instead of trying to pacify everyone whenever they ask legitimate questions or call out the irresponsible developers and community managers like @EA_Kent for ignoring every question from the community about the sorry state of this broken game, perhaps you should be also trying to reach out to them and hold them accountable for doing nothing to fix or update it.

As for @EA_Kent , we know that you're online and reading this. You posted a reply to the Sim CIty page yesterday about a server issue, yet you have chosen to completely ignore all our comments and posts on this page. Kindly refer to the embedded link in my comment as proof.

@Markkisselev again I would like to reiterate the pointlessness and lack of meaning of your comment. Your "disagreement" was debunked by yourself in he follow up sentence written by you, which proves my point. Moreover, your laughable claim that the developers will have the decency to update us if they were planning to pull the plug on this game is provably false. The fact of the matter is that all the points I listed out in my post about the bugs and broken/missing features of the game have been left unfixed for years, and the most recent "update" we received is a nonsensical post written by @EA_Kent a month ago about "wanting to drop in" to "clarify things", which he ironically locked so that nobody could respond to it. Kindly refer to the embedded link in my comment for his joke of a post.

    Hi, @malmal1295 !

I agree with most of your points. They can be summed up in one sentence: the game needs an update. However, I don't agree with you about the H2H mode. Although it worked poorly in the early stages, it did work. The developers received reports about the problems and shut it down to fix it.

But as you mentioned, there hasn't been an update for a while. We don't know the reason for that. All we know is that if the developer wanted to close the game, they would have told us.
