UFC mobile 2 dead game, 0 updates for years, irresponsible community managers

As many of you may have figured out after 2 years of 0 updates or bug fixes, this game is dead.

This is the third post I have made as a response to @EA_Kent ’s post he made over a month ago about alleged updates that have never came to fruition. All other mobile games by EA such as injustice 2 have received updates over the past 2 years, including weekly/monthly events and new characters. Let’s face it, this game is dead and the community managers supposedly in charge of it are either highly incompetent or wilfully pretending to keep up the charade that the game will ever be updated and fixed.

This is yet another post that I have tagged @EA_Kent in and I don’t expect a reply from him because I already know he’s going to ignore this post. His last online was yesterday, which means that he should have been able to see my previous 2 post tags that I made but chose to completely ignore them, no surprises there.

Thanks for locking your post @EA_Kent , at least you have the courage to show us that you have 0 interest in reading any replies or questions about the pathetic state of this game.

To new players, sorry to disappoint you but this game is dead. Refer to the list of broken features of the game below, and don’t get your hopes up, they haven’t been fixed for more than 2 years.

KEY FEATURES THAT ARE MISSING

1) H2H fights. It’s literally one of the features listed in the game that has never been updated for years. Why even have a H2H tab, H2H fight counter and H2H rewards when you’re not even planning to include it in the game?

2) quest pack piece. 0 explanation of what it is or how to get it. Quest packs are listed as items that can be purchased from the store yet it’s impossible to get them.

3) tier 4 and 5 of campaign mode. 0 updates on it for years. Anyone who played this game for more than 2 months would’ve likely completed all 3 tiers. Extremely sloppy work. If you are not planning to include tier 4 and 5 of the campaign, then you should not have included it into the milestones.

4) changing of username. This is literally a basic feature of any game apart from this one.

5) T2 elite rank item piece. It’s impossible to get more pieces or more T2 elite rank items apart from the GSP and DC quests. I understand locking these fighters and unique rewards behind a UFC point paywall but there’s literally 0 updates on other fighter quests.

6) 0 new fighters for years. No new fighters added while makhachev is completely locked. It’s impossible to get Islam but yet he’s listed as an obtainable fighter.

7) 0 way to expand inventory. The inventory size is a joke. The only way to expand it further is completing tier 4 and 5 of the campaign, which is virtually impossible since you didn’t release it for years.

8) 0 way to get defence points. At the end of a fight, pouts are calculated based of attack (use of power moves), defence (literally impossible to get because your game is trash and there’s 0 way of getting it) and time bonus. Why include it as a metric if there’s no way to get defence points?

KEY FEATURES THAT ARE BROKEN

1) power moves do not align with the actions that are actually performed by the fighters (ie an arm triangle power move doesn’t result in the fighter performing an arm triangle) once every couple of months, one fighter gets their power move fixed. The latest is DC afaik, which happened 2-3 months ago

2) power moves and showstoppers NOT recorded by the daily rewards counter. The only showstoppers that are recorded are Muay Thai, striker and kick-boxer. If I landed 25 BJJ show stoppers, it would be recorded as 0, therefore making me unable to complete the daily group quest. Same with power moves, only a fraction of them are recorded.

3) weekly quest rewards completely removed for months. There used to be weekly quest rewards but that’s feature has been completely removed without reason

4) in an event of a double KO, player’s fighter will be knocked out while opponent will be revived back to full HP. This makes no sense whatsoever.

@ea_kent thanks once again for locking your post about asking for community feedback, very productive indeed. Hope to hear from you within 2-3 years since that’s the rate of which your colleagues comment on this page.

@zpaglhpnw3q6 I'm gonna be real honest and realistic with you, take a look at any other mobile game under EA. A similar game with near identical gameplay/mechanics is injustice 2, which has been getting constant updates on timed events, content and characters
UFC mobile 2, on the other hand, has been having features removed every "update". First, H2H, then the weekly rewards. It's the only game under EA that has been having features removed rather than added in over time, and the game is still a buggy mess.
Unfortunately, despite being online every day and posting in other pages, @EA_Kent and @EA_Blueberry have been completely ignoring our posts and questions. The only alternative i can think of to force a reply out of them is by mass DMing them until they reply, even though @EA_Kent has ignored every attempt to contact him thus far.

Hey @malmal1295,

I can appreciate your concerns, but the post you're referring to is the only information I have available on the recent updates to the game. Those updates were really just backend bug fixes that didn't include any gameplay or content updates.

As I said before, if there are any updates in the future I will happily share them with everyone here, but currently we don't have any news to share. I understand that you are eager to hear more about the future of the game, but right now I don't have any info to pass along.

Please understand that the people here on Answers HQ are not the game developers. We're happy to pass along feedback and questions, but we may not always have the answers you're looking for. I appreciate your concern and passion for this game, and I am sorry that I don't have more information to share with you right now.

Again, if we do have any future news or updates to share on UFC Mobile 2 we will pass them along here as soon as we can.

@EA_Kent it has been 2 years with 0 updates to the game. Throughout this time, not only did UFC mobile 2 not receive any updates, key features have been occasionally removed entirely such as H2H and the weekly rewards.
Locked features which are clearly in the game are still locked such as Islam Makhachev and other characters featured in 276 and the campaign, frames that have been "unlocked" through the biweekly rewards that are unusable, fighter poses, quest pack, quest pack pieces, etc.
Surely, in a span of 2 years, these features that could have easily been made accessible to players would have been unlocked by now, yet that is not the case.
Past posts regarding asking forum users for input on which fighters they want added have been proven to be nothing but fluff. The 3D models for these fighters already exist in the first UFC mobile game and other UFC games. It does not make any sense whatsoever that after 2 years, we have 0 new characters added to the game despite community managers posting threads asking for user input on it.
Referencing other EA mobile games such as Injustice 2, the UFC mobile 2 game is completely dead. I feel that EA should have the decency to inform us that they are planning to pull the plug on it, instead of continuing with the non-speak and giving us non-answers or ignoring us.
New features for games do not get developed overnight. It takes weeks, if not months for developers to work on them before releasing it. I cannot understand what bottleneck you are facing and why you are unable to reach out to the relevant departments to request for news on any updates that they are either working on at the moment, or have in the works in the near future with regards to our game. Had you reached out to the developers on our behalf, as a community manager should do, and enquire on future updates and their timelines, we would be having an entirely different conversation.
With all other official communication channels either dormant or deleted, we can only infer that EA has no intention to ever update this game, and we would like a confirmation from you, as the community manager, that this game is shelved by EA for good.

@EA_Kent i am still waiting for a reply on this comment I tagged you in a week ago. You have been online but it seems like it will take at least a dozen tags before I can squeeze out yet another unenthusiastic and empty reply from you.

There is no H2H. That feature has been missing for years even though we should be able to play it. My honest advice is to keep tagging the community managers like @EA_Kent and @EA_Blueberry until they do their jobs and start asking the developers for updates on the game.

There's no reason to tag EA_Blueberry, he left for a promotion and is now in charge of a different area. EA_Kent knows the situation in the game. Mass tagg will not improve the situation.

@Markkisselev you say that there's no reason to mass tag the community managers so how about you tell us the solution to get answers from the devs, Mr. Answer Man? All you do is tell people to wait and not do anything while the community managers and devs ditch us. How's that working out after 2 years?
