UFC Mobile 2 (V1.4) Patch Notes

Hey, UFC Mobile 2 fans!

Here are the patch notes for version 1.4. Let us know what you think and punch us your feedback below.

*UPDATE* (7/19) per the Community Manager:

Thank you all for your incredible feedback, we are making some changes that will go out 7/20:

  • Stamina - Reduced Ability damage overall by ~20% - Reduce the amount of Stamina gained from taking damage by 10% - Increases the cost to use a Momentum Move by 25% - AI should no longer instantly use their Momentum Move when it's charged.

Overall this should make the fights flow nicer. You'll get to use Abilities just as often but they will do less damage, so there will be more than 2-3 Abilities per fight. Momentum Moves will also take along to charge, which better aligns with the damage they do.

  • Raids - Reduced the key entry cost of Training and Daily Raid from 1000 to 500 - Increases the starting Training and Daily Raid stamina from 20 to 25

These changes above will go into effect 7/20. 

Here are changes in effect for V1.4:

  • Campaigns/Events - Updated Hook Animation - Fight Style bonus visuals have been updated to be more clear - Updated downed state for fighter slots - Updated Edit Team Screen and removed Team Overview - New Lane Selection - Visual updates to Campaign Maps - Added new end of map reward flow (it’s pretty) - Added “Update my Team” that automatically updates your team based on the lane you select - Removed “Clear Slot” button above synergy - Pressing “Save” on Edit Team will bring the user back to the map - Updated lock icons to be less prominent - In Fighter Selection, your selected Fighters currently assigned to your team will still show in the list - Updated Heal/Revive Pop-up to function properly - Add “downed” and “injured” states to match up screen - Add titles of Act, Chapter and Map onto the map screen - Selected fighter will always be the Fighter you last selected, unless a weightclass change - Increase text size of Raid Player count - Added a persistent scroll bar
  • Store - Increased the size of the central object during pack openings.. Big means good. - Add numbered notifications to Store - Exiting a pack details screen will no longer reset you at the beginning of the store - Numbers notifications on Store Icon - Users will now see their currency as well as the cost on packs - purchase button displays currency values - Highlighted Purchase Button when user has enough currency
 
  • Fighter - Update display of Crit Multiplier to resemble Crit Chance in Fighter Attributes you selected - Fighter Kit Summary in Fighter Details - Added animation for Rank Screen
  • Daily Activities/Quests - Added “Star Studded” Quest - Updated Daily Activities to show a description when it is claimable(edited)
 
  • BUGS FIXES Tutorial - Fixed various tutorial freezes and crashes that would lock the tutorial requiring a restart - Fixed issue with the XP items in tutorial not working properly - Fixed Chapter 1 Map 1 rewards not showing - Fixed tutorial issue where user would be prompted to tap on featured offer instead of BW(W) pack - Fixed various crashes in tutorial(edited)
 
  • Fighters - Fixed BJJ fighter kit Overwhelm increasing player attack instead of decreasing opponent attack - New Fighters no long show as duplicates in reward summary - Fixed after the user forfeits/loses a match the fighter is still shown with full health - Fixed Aleksei Oleinik Daze the user permanently in Raid - Fixed issue with passives that caused some fighters to trigger their passive against multiple abilities - Fixed the VFX remaining on screen after interrupting an ability - Fixed issue where players could not add fighter XP past a full level - Fixed Usmans abilities that were staggering users for 30 seconds during Raids - Fixed Wrestler Ultimate Ability glitches near end of fight - Fixed Auto-parry resetting to 0% for Tecia Torres - Fixed camera angle switching after Louis Smolka’s ground ability - Fixed AI interrupting its standup Ultimate Ability, locking the user in a stun state - Fixed user being directed to Fighter Details instead of Upgrade menu after accessing Overflow - Fixed Rank items duplicating in inventory - Fixed users being KO’d from bleed after knocking out opponent - Fixed Loud audio crackle during Ultimate Ability - Fixed AI behaving incorrectly - Fixed AI using back-to-back abilities - Fixed issue where abilities/UA sometimes do not trigger when pressed after stepping back - Fixed Fighters abilities and core strikes doing incorrect damage - Fixed crit applying randomly using some BJJ fighters - Fixed issue where tapping on abilities as they charge lock them until you use a core strike - Removed Sell option that appears for a split second when tapping on any fighter - Ultimate Abilities are now in sync with their audio - AI Abilities no longer go through fighters without doing any damage - Dodging than throwing a hook should no longer miss based on distance
  • Campaign/Events/H2H/Raids - Fixed raid title loading loop when entering for the first time - Fixed users being unable to join training guild due to error - Fixed game crashes after completing campaign matches or trying to enter new unlocked maps - Fixed gameplay error after post-fight screen in h2h match - Fixed issue where incorrect team is being shown when tapping “edit team” - User Icon is no longer off-centered in Campaigns - Fixed issue in Raids where attempting to join a room after launching a raid ends up disconnecting to server - Fixed application crashing when tapping on Match Details after a fight - Fixed issue with Raid Stamina not being able to be purchased from pop-up - Fixed users not being able to purchase heal items with UFC Points in the Heal and Revive Screen - Fixed buttons overlapping with rewards after completing a raid match - Fixed crash when switching rooms in daily raid - Fixed H2H leaderboard not showing correct data - Fixed Guild name not showing in chat menu - Fixed stamina timer resetting every time the application is restarted - Fixed Guild Daily Activity rewards requiring multiple taps to be claimed - Fixed text that said “Heal” instead of “Revive” when a Fighter was downed - Fixed error “sorry, something unexpected went wrong” when user attempted to create or to switch guilds - Fixed Division info displaying wrong league for the user in H2H - Fixed match up screen showing incorrect health after a heal/revive - Fixed stamina refresh timer being stuck at 00:00 - Fixed issue with Guild search, where the double digit number count breaks - Fixed stamina timer reset when a user spends it
 
  • Store - Fixed the notifications in store - Fixed tapping on the stamina bringing you to the store rather than the market - Users no longer have to restart game to have packs appear in the store - Fixed issue where users were returned to previous screen after purchasing a pack
 
  • Misc. - Fixed crash when deleting the Discord message from inbox - Fixed “Tap to Play” screen not allowing users to continue requiring reinstallation - Fixed application crash when the user taps on Match Details in Profile - Fixed issue where users could not log into the game, and would get an error after selecting an age - Fixed Daily Login objectives not progressing if the user leaves the game in the background - Fixed Daily Activities and Quests being locked

  • Huge update. But there is still work to be done:
    1) Since the fighter is standing in a left-handed stance, the hook should be applied with the right hand.
    2) We need to fix the approach to the opponent. Now it looks like a roll, not an approach.
