Just checking back in to remind everyone this is not an apex bug. Go play any other game with strong aim assist and see how horrible and hard it is to shoot.

You mentioned playing other games with aim assist: Last year after XDef had resolved most of the known netcode issues which plagued the game for a while after the initial launch, I was enjoying FPS again & dominating in competitive lobbies - even matched on higher latency EU servers instead of my local 35ms server. Regular high kill (50-90), high dmg games:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 👻
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090
Motherboard: Asus ROG X570‑E (as of 2022)
He was using AMD CPU (had the problem on his old PC) so it’s very likely the new PC he upgraded to was AMD.
