So.. Apex is working for me after the updateEA_Mako 😁
Booted up this morning, downloaded a 900+ Mb Apex update & went into the firing range. Last night I was using 4K / 120Fps on XDefiant so I went into Apex with that.
Set 4-3 linear, it worked well but I prefer higher pitch so I set my old ALC’s = 🔥🔥🔥
WOW. The ‘rustiness’ evaporated immediately. Felt like S16 again. For the first time in many seasons I made my way around the entire firing range training, just in awe that my game finally works..
I don’t know whether to laugh or laughCry 😆😭
Pls everyone test & report back if it’s working for you.
Edit: I used my Xbox Elite 2 controller. Sens felt practically perfect. Didn’t even need to try my other newer controller.

There was an update when I checked Apex yesterday (800+ mb) & after that it’s still working for me on Xbox using 2160p 120fps in the firing range. I also just tested 1080p & it’s good. Had to adjust my ALC’s slightly, but none of the prior problems I used to experience.
Any improvement for you after the update?
Nah same ol mess for me. It’s magnified times 10 when I play with my duos buddy. Both of us on Fiber connection. I think mine is a mix of aa working when it feels like it (rarely) and whatever they use to manipulate connections/gameplay to level (lol) the playing field vs high ping players. We had a few good games yesterday but in most everything feels sluggish and unresponsive which in turn is a death sentence for me. It’s not lag unless they’re introducing it artificially upon me. We're both on the East coast, the Southeast particularly.
Edit: I wanted to add I know how many shots it takes to knock an enemy. I think often I also have fights where I feel like the shots aren’t registering even though the onscreen indicators say otherwise. Leads to a lot of fights where afterwards I say there’s no way I lost that.
