Ok thank you for that. This game Thursday was totally unplayable. I still think a lot of this is connection manipulation trying to level playing field between connections but it’s overly skewed in the wrong direction.
That being said I tried something odd. Note I’m on gigabit fiber and it’s worse than when I was on spectrum 300mbps cable. I hooked up a old wrt54g behind my main router and ran my xbox from it on 2.4 wifi set down to wifi B only. Immediately had a 8 kill, 1931 damage game. This is very, very rare for me. I don’t recall ping but it wasn't high. I proceeded to have 8 or 10 games that felt mostly right but later in the evening started trending towards the same ol bs again. This was with a strict NAT. I added to dmz on main router but never was able to get open NAT.
I have fought with trying to get this game consistent ever since the 1st patch rolled out. It’s maddening. Shame because I love the game otherwise. 1st patch presenting the start of issues could be misleading because I realize player base took a little bit to get ramped up. Sorry if any of this doesn’t 100% pertain to the topic. It’s early and I need coffee 😅

Better play on moderate NAT? that does not surprise me at all.
