Here are some footage from my session today at the firing range.
It's not really bad aiming as you might think, can see how the crosshair is going to hovering over the target dummies and not damaging it for many split seconds ? That's huge in real matches against real players, it causes me to really get destroyed a lot.
Not to mention the aim resist I feel that literally slows my mouse movement or make it stuck around the players preventing me from damaging them and as I said before, in that case if I managed to get on the target I just get too low damage on them.
So let me start by saying I really enjoy Wildcard mode & I’m only providing these clips to assist Respawn, not attack them.
As I said before I’ve seen improvements & many of my games have been stable with consistent aim. That being said, I still experience the aim resist problem & desync.
In some games I battle to aim from the start but it may improve, in others it happens randomly during that game.
Clip 1:
I very quickly levelled up my weapons to Gold after landing, my aim was perfectly fine up until this point.

From this exact moment onward I could not aim whatsoever & my squad were eliminated not too long afterward. I would not have 9 kills + multiple assists so quickly if I could not aim with these weapons, I would’ve swopped them out already if I had any issues prior.
Clip 2:
Had just picked up the L-Star from the bin behind me but forgot to remove the 2x sight in the chaos. I down the Bangalore (slight problem tracking) but see the other Bangalore running in so decided to put the last few bullets into eliminating the knock because I expected smoke & I cannot see anything in it (plus I always get melted in smoke).
Those 5 bullets do no damage at all tho!

The last 2 opponents that we beat in this clip I’ve actually been matched with multiple times recently, they do high dmg & are very attacking players.

I’ve noticed that audio has been quite bad for enemy players. When I record clips & listen to them I sometimes hear very faint movement. Other sounds & fighting elsewhere is almost completely drowning it out.
Does anybody hear this player drop down or land, running in water - anything?

Also, why is this player highlighted - I was going to challenge regardless of that (no point running away) but the highlight definitely gave me an advantage. My healthbar would be showing for them though I think?
This weekend has felt a bit more stable than during the week. I assume that with a bigger pool of players the matchmaking is doing a better job with lobby selection + stability & therefore there’s been less aim & desync issues 🤷🏻♂️
I’ve also noticed a change in the type of player I’m matched with. In a lot of games I’ve got teammates with a similar attacking style to me who like to get involved, good gun skill with high dmg - It’s those games I enjoy the most. When I get matched with more defensive & arguably lower skill players, normally a duo who only help each other or run away, I don’t enjoy that game at all.
I have more aim resist clips but haven’t uploaded them coz storage space is low.
