Respawn claims to value competitive integrity, but Apex matches players with large ping differences. This creates significant desync, making movement, abilities, and shots unreliable and consistently disadvantaging players. Until networking is improved - through stricter ping deltas, better lag compensation, and regional servers - true fairness isn’t achievable.
