I've noticed this exact same behavior in the past 2-3 weeks. Upon landing bots immediately sprint away from me, often without even picking up weapons. Bots ignore commands, and refuse to revive. I use Bot Royale as a way to practice with new weapons, but it's become almost unplayable because the bots are never anywhere near me so every fight is a 1v3. I can't imagine how it would feel for a new player getting dropped in and having to fight 1v3s all the time.
