i dont know how it happened i dont know why it happened cause i was fighting in 2nd last zone. but i was unable to see the zone lines.
i was fighting halfway retreated to heal. i can hear the zone i can see it on my minimap but in my actual game play the lines of the zone were not there. then the zone touched me and i went down.
This is a bug that often happens after a respawn. I've had it happen to me a few times over my time playing apex. I don't see the devs fixing it anytime soon as it doesn't happen often and it isn't a "game breaking bug".
I did not even bother to report as it happened to me since season 24 but quire rarely and more often in late zones (where it hurts the most though).
For me it happened both after respawn = animation of the ship, I see the zone, drop down, zone goes away just sound, I actually can't see ring like at all not only close to me. But it also happened just randomly during fights, zone closing, you take few steps back and start getting zone damage yet no visual disturbance. If it would not be late ring zones it would actually be exploitable as there is no shaking and if damage would be minimal + enemies see you in red zone = visual clutter for them.
Yeah, but even if you remove a little visual clutter and shaking its minimal and it doesn't happen massively often so I doubt it'll be patched. it'll just end up as "one of those things that happen".
