Controller Auto Sprint Bug

I'm experiencing a delay when using auto sprint on controller, at least in the firing range (not tested in ranked or pubs). Before the Gundam Event update, auto sprint would work normally, and as soon as the joystick moved, my character would sprint. Now, even when pushing the stick fully forward, there's about a 200-300 ms delay before the character starts to sprint when I am holding a weapon, affecting how assault characters can immediately slide after cracking the shield with their gun out. Keyboard and mouse doesn't have this issue. I have calibrated controllers, and the joysticks are working fine with minimal stick drift. The character should sprint as soon as the left joystick moves, but now it doesn't. I haven't seen anything regarding this issue thus far, but it's very noticeable.. With my gun in my hand, the character can move in all directions, but doesn't start sprint forward until after a noticeable delay.

Midnight9746 This only happens on PC with a controller. Console doesn't have the issue at all based on my experience on PS5.

solution is to not press any mouse or keyboard input while the game is open. boot up game and never use mnk and the autosprint delay bug will not appear.

Super thankful someone else has this issue, i knew i wasn’t crazy lol. The bug exist for all apex modes like ranked and pubs, not just firing range.

I have also been experiencing this issue and can’t pinpoint the cause. I use a dualsense edge on pc. I tried redownloading the game, factory reset pc, turned off launch properties (120 fov, capped fps, stretch res), deleted playstation accessories, turned off stream controller input, tried different controllers. The only thing that i found works is a fresh install of apex on a factory reset pc. Once i started changing settings, even if i reverted them, the delay would come back. The delay also does not exist on r5, (modded version of old apex) so it must be a gundam update bug. Similar to the ult bug and previously the ability delay bug. It’s frustrating how every new update creates a new controller bug.

I can confirm this bug exists after the update and can consistently  trigger it. Any sort of mouse or keyboard input will cause it to break controller sprint until the player starts a new match.

If I enter a match and don't touch my keyboard or mouse at all, then sprint works fine. But if ANY key is pressed or there's ANY mouse movement, it breaks until the next match.

After the Gundam update, my controller has a delay when trying to autosprint. I don't have this problem in r5 or on mnk. I also tried multiple controllers and they all have this bug.

(Controller bug in first part of clip, mnk works fine in second part of clip)
