Seems to be pretty random but atleast 50% of the time you die in cyberware mode/cyberpyschosis it does not allow you to use the ability on your next respawn. Instead after landing you need to toggle in and out of the cyberware mode so you don't just melee the air.

Found a bug where when if you die while cyberpsycho after respond you can no longer use cyber abilities, or regular abilities included tactical and ultimate. The only fix I have found is to die and respawn. I even tried knocking myself and had a teammate revive me, but no dice. Anywho, js wanted to hop on and see if anyone was running into the same problem...
TheWhyWynauters For this issue, I've found that you can turn off the Cyberware and then reenable it to get back into the fight without having to die a second time.
Its still a problem however.
If you pick the left option for cyberware in the new wildcard game mode, it will not allow you to use your character specific abilities (tactical/ultimate).
This bug is seemingly random and only upon respawning. Disabling the cyberware and turning it back on fixes the issue, but is rather time consuming and very commonly puts you in unfair and unwinnable confrontations.
My experience with this issue has been on a PS4 if this is relevant.

Yes I thought I was going crazy. But I catch onto things quick and figured it was a bug with the cyberpsychosis. I had this happen before I think during the gundam event and was locked out of using any abilities. Causing me to lose a lot of encounters with the enemy team. The only fix I had was to do the same and die and respawn and hope it will let me use my abilities which it did. I read somebody said to disable the cyberware. How does one do that? But anyways same problem as you I hope they fix soon cause the mode already wild enough can’t have that happening when people zooming around the map lol.
