False-positive ban wave

I have never cheated in this game and out of nowhere I  was also banned for "Enhancement" when my pc is very vanilla. I have bad stats (Platinum 3) in game and yet was banned. 

I’m sorry you’re dealing with this too. My situation sounds very similar. I was playing normally for weeks and have over 4k hours on this game. I also received repeated template responses and still have no idea what triggered it. Were there any changes on your system around that time ? I recently swotched monitor from 1920x1080p to 2560x1440p but I highly doubt that caused the ban. Thank you for sharing!

I also got banned for game play enhancement out of nowhere, the only thing i could think of is my wooting keyboard, but EA Help does not provide any details on why my account was banned. They just answer that they carefully reviewed my case and that their ban was right. So if u are suspecting a ban wave caused by some false positive detections maybe there is hope to get back access to the account. I just wanted to state, that i never cheated and or had the intention to do so; i also wrote the EA Help that my stats did not reflect any sort of cheating (because then they would be better :D) but no dice. EA Help just answers with the same generic answer.

It really sucks when players get banned for using or unknowingly using something that doesn’t even give them an edge. I really hope you get unbanned if it was just for using a different keyboard. I still don’t know what caused my ban to this day, and it’s really frustrating, what a waste of time and money...

Its kinda upsetting that we get banned for things that you didn't do which is cheating. Even if I buy a new PC and create new account, what is the guarantee that this event would not happen again? Start from 0? I have unlocked a lot of characters, bought a lot of skins etc. and starting from scratch will honestly **bleep** me off. Worst part is that you took good care of your account to not get banned at this actually happens.

Well i don't know for sure if it is the keyboard, it just my hunch - it might be something completely different. as long as they keep replying the same generic message - that they carefully reviewed it, concluded that the ban was right and deny my appeals, it will stay what it is ... a hunch.

Yeah man sad to hear that this false is still happening.

 I got false banned jan 18 since then I submitted roughly around 8-9 appeals which you already know were all denied with the same response.

Since then I gave up on my account since they didn’t actually listen to my honest messages i had 2 heirlooms at the time of the ban and had put a lot of time and effort just for the trash anti cheat to false ban me.

if you want the honest truth. Just say GG’s to your account and switch to another game to play 

And honestly bro after i got banned on apex i launched another game that also runs with easy anti-cheat which is Fortnite and i got banned on Fortnite after playing 2 matches.

so i appealed for my Fortnite ban and they actually listened and i gave them enough proof and evidence that i wasn’t cheating in the exact same day i got false banned on apex so they lifted my ban within 24 hours of contacting the appeal support.

just think about it bro….

It's crazy because I got false-banned last year and they just quietly removed the ban without any apology. I don't even know why I picked up the game again but I was having fun honestly and then this happens after I spend money on for a skin that I didn't even get to enjoy. Lesson learned. PoE2 time
