Power Sword Radial Menu Issue

Same thing happening to me If you ever find a solution (before it gets fixed) mind telling me how you fixed it?
Also I own all color variants but sucks I don't get to see the others
Earlier I could (i owned 2 color variants not all 3) if that helps

I said above "Not consistently showing" but its more like... its not showing. Haven't had it work in a match yet. Can get it to sometimes work in the firing range like..... ill spawn in with yellow on, turn it off, see the yellow and blue option, pick the blue, then when I turn the blue off... then the blue is the only option (no yellow) even though I started with yellow and when you go back to melee select in lobby yellow isn't picked any more, its changes to the blue option for that particular legend. I want to get the red...

P.S. Would be cool also if you could just go from one color to the other without turning the effect off first.... just an idea :) Cheers 🤟

OH man... as an extra... I just noticed I got -10 (Negative Exotic shards) today

this happening to you too?

xi-FouR-LeaF-ix   & supersayenhiyes If you're talking about the wheel in-game, I believe that is intentional if you own more than one variant, as the sword's variant can be changed at any point during the match.

As for the negative Exotic Shards, I'm not sure about those, but I do know that if you had bought any of the recolors for 20 Exotic Shards, those were suppose to only be 10 Exotic Shards each. 

If your Exotic Shards is still negative, could you please share a screenshot?

Here is a Screenshot of "the wheel in-game" not displaying all 3 Colored variants for the power sword:
In Firing range Without Switching characters and staying only on a single character for the duration of my time here:

In firing range ONLY if I change between the 3 different characters (in this case "Red = Caustic", "Purple = Lifeline", "Yellow = Gibraltar") that have different color variants equipped because staying in a single character doesn't work:

And as extra details:

I was able to rotate between the "Power Sword Color Variants" when I only and exclusively owned 2 color variants, I decided to purchase the last color variants with the last 10 exotic shards I had for a total of 0 Exotic shards
In match I couldn't switch between all 3 color variants and instead was displaying only 1 color variant at a time (The one I had equipped at the time of the match)
Next day I logged on I found out I had "-10" Exotic Shards and when I check it out it displays "Negative Exotic Shards"
Weird indeed haha, Wondering if this has happened to anyone else?

I see what you meant by the wheel now. Its simply not providing all 3 options like its suppose to.

Now that I understand what you've meant, what happens when you have less items equipped on your quip wheel? (In other words, does the issue still happen if you remove any of the emotes, holosprays, or voicelines from the wheel?)

Only asking because the issue might be related to the limit of how many items could be on the quip wheel, (which would be useful for Respawn to know if that was indeed the problem). I would check to see this for myself, but I don't own the Power Sword, (even though the Red recolor looks amazing).

I've asked for a screenshot of this for a few reasons:

1. So Respawn could easily see that the account is in the negative, (even though they should have a way of finding out for themselves).
2. To help track accounts that were affected by being accidently gifted the Battle Pass Premium+ Rewards, (when they didn't buy that version of the Battle Pass), from those who were refunded Exotic Shards for the mispriced Power Sword recolors, (as each one was suppose to be 10 Exotic Shards, not 20).

That being said, was your account accidently given the Battle Pass Premium+ Rewards at all? (Only asking, as it seems to be related to the negative Exotic Shards).

Yes I've tried it on "champs" with less equipped stuff on the wheel, for example on "Loba" I only have 2 quips on and it still doesn't show up, all though the limit shouldn't be an issue

When I was able to equip different colors (Only when I owned 2 color variants not all 3) I was able to see the other colors in "Caustic" who's quips are full

With the battle pass (split 1) I bought "Premium" with apex coins, then 3 days before the end of split one I upgraded to "Ultimate" but never "Ultimate +" and still got the "Ultimate + skins" until they removed it, I am unsure if they gifted me extra exotic shards or not, I wasn't paying much attention when it came to that.

But if my math is correct, I took a long break from apex, came back to buy split 1 and this power sword event which gives me a total of 30 exotic shards total and I do own all variants + death box for power sword, so... deserved?
Either way I would like to know what happened with the not being able to switch between color variants

As soon as get the "Exotic shards" from split 2 I'll let you know if its fixed or not

I have a feeling that refunding "EA" of its "negative exotic shards" will fix the power sword problem, but we'll see, unless you have any theories of your own on what could fix it?

Hmm, that to me seems to suggest its an error on Respawn's part. If I had to guess, the game most likely thinks you have an "extra" variant.

In other words:

1. Non-Powered Sword
2. Color 1
3. Color 2
4. <extra> Color 3
   
   

It was most likely meant to be like: 

1. Color 1
2. Color 2
3. Color 3

With the "Non-Powered Sword" being the "deactivated" state since all 3 versions, (that I know of), can switch to this variant.

In this case, I suspect what had happened was that you were accidently given an extra 10 Exotic Shards from the Ultimate+ Pass, so when you had bought the Power Sword and its variants, you ended up using those extra 10 Exotic Shards, (which would of meant that when Respawn had corrected your account, they had saw that the extra 10 Exotic Shards were already spent, and thus placed your Exotic Shards in the negative).

If Respawn did indeed place your Exotic Shards in the negative due to you unknowingly spending the extra 10 Exotic Shards, then you should still be able to fully use what you've spent the Exotic Shards on.

Lastly, once you do get another 10 Exotic Shards, do let me know if that did fix the problem with the Power Sword.

I just hit level 30 on the split 2 of the battlepass, was awarded 10 exotic shards totalling itself from "-10 exotic shards" to "0 exotic shards" and now I can use all variants of the sword in "the firing range" without switching characters first

But in game be it "Duos", "trios", "rankeds" whatever it is...
I can't switch the sword styles in public matches

Problem still persists, any suggestions? or did you find any solution elsewhere? since I noticed you are quite active on these forums haha ;P
