Wraith Void ability to enter Thunderdome

When using Wraith Void ability to enter Gibraltar Thunderdome, you're counted as the first person, and only the EMP effect is triggered.

Shouldn't the damage and EMP be received when the Void ends?

Given the Void's mechanics, it seems strange for it to absorb the effect, so isn't this a bug?
