Battlefield 6 / EA Javelin Anti-Cheat Crash Investigation Report

Multiple users appear to report similar EA Javelin Anti-Cheat crashes after recent updates. So I hope this will help.

Issue Summary

Battlefield 6 launches successfully through Steam and EA App. EA Javelin Anti-Cheat initializes correctly and the game reaches the main menu.

The crash does NOT occur during startup.

The game consistently crashes after approximately 2-7 minutes, either while sitting in the main menu or during active gameplay.

No BSOD occurs.
No DirectX error appears.
No NVIDIA driver crash is reported.

Windows Event Viewer repeatedly logs EA Javelin Anti-Cheat related errors.

System Information

  • Windows 11 Pro Build 26200
  • AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
  • ASUS ROG Crosshair X670E Hero

The failure appears to occur during runtime rather than startup.

Requested Investigation

  • Thank you for the response, but the article you linked is generic and doesn't address my specific issue — I had already gone through all of those steps before opening this ticket.I've already provided minidump files with the crashing driver clearly identified as eaanticheat.sys. Key details:

    1. All dumps show the identical crash offset: eaanticheat+4b480f3

    2. Bugcheck codes observed: 0x1E KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED, 0xA IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, 0x139 KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE

    3. Standard troubleshooting already completed: Core Isolation/Memory Integrity disabled, VBS disabled via bcdedit, XMP disabled (no overclock), BIOS updated to latest version, chipset drivers updated directly from ASUS, EAAntiCheatService fully uninstalled and reinstalled, game files verified via Steam

    4. Crashes occur consistently during active matches, which points to a driver-side issue rather than a local system/configuration problem

Given this is a kernel-mode driver crash with a consistent, reproducible offset, I'd like to request this ticket be escalated to Tier 2 / technical support who can review the crash dumps directly, rather than general FAQ troubleshooting.

I'm happy to provide additional data if needed — DxDiag, msinfo32 export, or full WinDbg !analyze -v output.

The only "fix" I've seen that mostly works for me is reinstalling the Javelin service before launching the game EVERY TIME.
