Can't respawn after downed

Since season 2 has started every few games I play when I get downed I can't respawn. I play on PS5. Usually Domination, King of the Hill, Squad Deathmatch, and Team Deathmatch. I have not tried any other modes yet. This did not happen to me once during season 1. Makes me not want to play anymore. What is going on?
