Im pretty sure it's a bug cus if this was as intended it killed the gamemode.
Now in strikepoint if your team just captures the Objective to 1% and die on the objective you will win regardless, so now i could basically rush objective with my mates get 1% capture then kill ourselves and win....
please fix this because the gamemode became unplayable and easily abused
Never before have I ended a strikepoint in a draw, at least before today. Frankly there is no way this isnt a bug, because it destroys one of the main win conditions of strikepoint: eliminate the enemy team.
Hopeing that this gets picked up quickly by EA so we can get the mode back in working order.
This patch completely broke Strikepoint.
And then after getting that first round win, your team can just kill themseves before the obj opens to get ties until you win 6-5. Revert back to normal please
If Strikepoint stays like this and it isn’t a bug, the game is ruined. Strikepoint was the only reason to play or buy BF6.
My online friends feel the same way.
A strikepoint match can only be won by elimination if you have more time on point. If neither team has time on point it ends in a draw.
Which means:
If you eliminate the enemy team prior to point being open for capture you draw.
If you eliminate the enemy team while they have more time on point, they win
If you win one round, you can then as a team kill yourself at spawn and force a draw, meaning you win the game.
The point should ideally be used as a way to counter camping/hiding and forcing the fight, not as the sole win mechanic.

This strike point change is a huge middle finger from devs to the players. sad.
Pls fix this fast! Unplayable. Winning is basically random. Frankly I am unsure how this was not caught in testing...
the question is did they do this intentionally or is it just a bug?

It has to be a bug mission briefing still says win by securing the objective or eliminating the enemy team.
