Press enter to try to chat - the chat pops open - cannot input anything, cannot escape chat window - when finally die - can't redeploy - can zoom in and out on map via scroll wheel only. Have to Alt+F4 to quit out as nothing allows input back in to the game.
This bug causes any input to not work when trying to enter the chat while down/waiting to be revived. It completely breaks user input and requires a complete restart of the game.
Mine wasn't even in the down state - just entering chat at all - caused input to not work
I have found a remedy for PC, if you connect a controller and switch the input, it will allow you to play again.
I couldn't do anything after activating chat. Tried Alt Tabbing, CNTRL ALT DLT, but nothing worked. Just had to force close the game mid operation. Very cool Dice.
