AI straight line speed
The AI are too fast on the straights. They seem to be very slow in the corners and break very early but then overtake you on the straight. It is impossible to overtake if you are playing on the correct difficulty.

The AI in this game was born broken.
It's less that they're too fast and more that they have too much traction and can reach V-max faster.
I have exactly the same feeling. I am not sure, if the AI is really too fast, but I am very confident that the acceleration out of corners is too good, which could in turn lead to the better straight line speed.
On the other side the AI seems to either break a little early or too strong. I thinkg, if there was just a very marginal adjustment to improve corner entries and worsen corner exits, the AI would seem a lot more natural.
