F1 25 overexposed on Xbox

Just bought the game on Xbox series X. Upon starting for the first time, all the menus and graphics are overexposed, like in a sort of high contrast mode. Turned gamma down to lowest (50), made it slightly better but still not playable. Can't adjust HDR. Can anybody advise a fix, otherwise I'd have to refund the game. My F1 24 works fine, as does every other game. I've gone through all the menu settings and Xbox system settings and there's nothing which helps to adjust this.
