Game crashing (PC, Steam)

Every time I go into a loading screen for a cut scene (like contract or grid reveal in career) or race for the first time it crashes. Sometimes 2nd and 3rd time of trying also. Drivers are fully updated, 5070ti etc on a PC that has no issues on other larger/more consuming games.

Any tips?

  • Also done my drivers update and reinstalled, same thing happening

  • I also have the same issue. Made a new career with the 2026 regulations went to go to the track for the first time the game just freezes and crash no error code just back to my desktop.  I have a RTX 5060.

I dont even get one it just switches my pc off fully, with a bit of ai assisted tech support i've lowered the graphics from ultra high to high and it lowers my gpu to around 70% on track whereas ultra high in the menus uses 100% of my gpu but with a 5070ti graphics card and an AMD 7800 GPU I've never had the issue before this dlc about playing on ultra high graphics quality on F1 25

MRBAD322 I was just about to come here and post the same thing.

EA_Groguet The game seems to have issues with running in windowed Fullscreen mode because it always crashes about a minute or two in (I think it's caused by the Anti-cheat). As long as I either launch the game in Fullscreen mode or change to Fullscreeen mode before the Anti-cheat stutter kicks in then it runs fine afterward.

Edit: You can change back to windowed afterwards, it just seems like it has to be in fullscreen during what I assume is the anti-cheat scan.
