Game Launch Issues Due To Windows Insider Update

On August 11, Microsoft issued an update to users in the Windows Insider program. This OS-level change is causing some EA games to fail to launch on PC for some users.

Many games that use anti-cheat (at EA and beyond) require a valid certificate to verify the system environment. The update that was sent to Windows Insider users created a problem in which EA Javelin Anti-Cheat is unable to validate that secure system environment required to deliver game entitlements, preventing some games from launching as a security precaution. EA Javelin Anti-Cheat is functioning as intended to protect your gaming experience, but certain users experiencing this problem will be unable to launch certain games with that update.

    After updating Windows 11 26H2 Release Preview from Build 26300.9445 to Build 26300.9539, F1 25 can no longer launch because EA Javelin AntiCheat blocks/restricts the game during startup.

    The issue started immediately after installing Build 26300.9539 and reproduces every time, including after restarting the PC. Secure Boot and other system security settings were not changed.

    Rolling back to Build 26300.9445 immediately resolves the issue, and F1 25 launches normally again. Reinstalling Build 26300.9539 causes the issue to return.

    This strongly suggests a compatibility regression between Build 26300.9539 and EA Javelin AntiCheat / Windows Insider certificates. Please investigate.

    None of my games with Javelin work, F125, Madden 27, Skate, or BF6 (currently installed). Please make sure the rollout fixes all games conflicting with the latest insider build. Interesting how this never happened to me in the past year to multiple years being on insider and now all of a sudden it has. Spent hours upon hours troubleshooting before you guys acknowledged the issue. Please issue a fix ASAP, since I'm sure I'm not the only one just wanting to play games they purchased.
