player potential status

After the latest update, player potential status in manager mode has been replaced by contract status. It's no longer possible to check the potential of a player at my club. Also, when searching for players with expiring contracts, the status indicates that absolutely all players have signed contracts, even if they don't. (I found a player with whom transfer talks are possible after his contract expires, and the scouting report indicated that the contract was signed.) This prevents free transfers from being made. Both of these issues detract from the player's experience.

Additionally, a contract extension mechanic was introduced that prevents players from initiating negotiations independently. This creates problems with future roster formation. I think this mechanic should be optionally disabled. Or a way should be added for players to take initiative and attempt to initiate negotiations.
